That's a wrap….for 2014!

Back at the start of April, Kelsi, Caomhan and I (Christine) trudged through the knee deep snow at both camps to open up and get ready for our biggest and most record-breaking LTC season yet. After 3302 awesome students, 315 Oh Canada’s, 129 campfires, 49 epic staff, 6 months, 3 (official) days off and 1 new camp puppy, our unbelievable season is a wrap!

It is an understatement to say that we are grateful for how well this year has turned out, in fact I would say that we are humbled. We are humbled by the dedication we have seen from every single person who has come through our camps; every school, every staff member, every teacher, every student. We are humbled to receive just one amazing review, but this year we received them well into the double digits. We are grateful to see our amazing staff and clients buy in to what we truly believe in as an organization, and to see them fall in love with the places that feel like home to us. We cannot thank you all enough for making this the greatest LTC season on record! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

As winter is quickly approaching, it’s time for planning, planning and more planning for next year! Before we know it, we will be trudging through the snow at camp all over again, getting ready for what we know and believe will be an epic 2015. Our dates are already filling up fast…and it’s only November!

It’s off to OSLC in Niagara Fall for us this coming weekend, so until next time…Dream, Dare, Do!

We had such a great time! Your camp is aMazing. The students loved it, and did things they never thought they would have! The slide show at the end was the cherry on top!!!

“Just want to thank the Pigeon Lake YLCC staff for another wonderful experience. My Grade 7 class just returned from their overnight with smiles on their faces and singing ‘pizza man’. I have taken a group for a number of years now and I never tire of the experience. YOU rock!”
